In June and July, Tennessee Shakespeare Company will offer three exciting summer experiences for young people ready to play, speak, and be empowered. Young players will enjoy learning multiple disciplines for the stage that will lead them to an active appreciation and understanding of the world of Shakespeare's plays. Three camps for multiple age groups, including adolescents and teens: June 13 - July 8, 2016. See camp descriptions below.

Live Your Own Fairytale!
In this exciting one-week camp, students will explore famous fairytales, re-living the stories as the characters themselves. Students will present their favorite characters on the last day of camp!
Dates: June 13 – 17; 9 am - 4 pm at Hutchison School
Create Your Own Shakespearean Tale!
What would happen if Romeo and Hamlet met? Or if Julius Caesar joined the cast of A Midsummer Night’s Dream? In this two-week interactive camp, students will devise a new play using Shakespeare’s characters, plots, and even iambic pentameter! Students will perform the new works on the last day of camp.
Dates: June 20 - July 1; 9 am - 4 pm at Hutchison School
Fun with Fables and Folktales!
Over four days, students will learn famous fables and folktales from all different cultures and then act them out. A different folktale for every day including Chicken Little, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Bremen Town Musicians, and Anansi.
